The Red Lions

If you're an English person, or if you've ever been to England, you've probably visited a pub. It's a cultural institution that is almost as much a part of English heritage as fish and chips. And while many pubs have lost their original character over time, there are some that still retain their old-world charm.
The Red Lion Pub in Wakefield is a 15th century pub that has been used as a public house since the 17th century.
The pub has been called The Red Lion since 1796, when it was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire.
